Project Overview
Back in 2019, the Williams Group celebrated 110 years as a family-owned business, and to commemorate this occasion they opened the doors to their brand-new flagship automotive retail store based in Trafford City.
This flagship store now homed BMW, MINI, Jaguar and Land Rover, uniting these blue-chip companies all on one site. This new centre was to form part of the Peel Land and Property’s Trafford City development, neighbouring Intu Trafford Centre.
The 14.5-acre site was set to house the largest BMW centre in the North West with the ability to showcase more than 70 BMW cars, a purpose-built showroom for MINI alongside an 18 car, dual branded showroom for Jaguar and Land Rover. This is not to mention the acres of outdoor space they had to showcase cars within the premises. However, with the numerous amounts of assets within the compound they were in need of an entire perimeter security that would stand up against intruders.
So, a well-known Northern Contractor got in contact with CLD Fencing Systems to manufacture and supply this project with perimeter security to protect the new site.
The Brief
The Williams Group main concern was to achieve full perimeter security to protect the many assets this brand-new compound would hold. The project requirements are as follows:
- An anti-climb fencing system
- Full perimeter security
- Effective anti-climb access control onto site
